She has had twenty-eight years of business experience, both locally and internationally, having trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young, Lagos and Price WaterHouse Coopers in London.
She was previously Director for West Africa Investments at the Investment Fund for Health in Africa (IFHA). She is also a board member and was previously CEO and then Chairperson of Hygeia Group Nigeria, promoters of Hygeia HMO and Lagoon Hospitals. She is Chairperson of Old Mutual Life Insurance Company Nigeria and is also a member of the following boards – Old Mutual West Africa; PAL Pensions;; EchoLab Diagnostics, Lifebank Technologies, Results for Development Institute (R4D), Washington DC USA; and Harvard Business School’s Healthcare Initiative. She is a trustee of the Harvard Business School Alumni in Nigeria and a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Lagos Chapter.
Fola holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, Cambridge, USA. She is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
In 2011, she was nominated as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and in 2013 she was awarded the Harvard Business School Africa Business Club Leadership Excellence Award.
Dr. Abayomi Sule
‘Yomi (MBBS, MBA) is a social entrepreneur, healthcare thought leader and management specialist with a background in medicine. He is a hands-on practitioner who understands the opportunities and challenges associated with emerging market healthcare and social innovation leadership, management and coordination.
‘Yomi provides advisory and management services to public and private organizations in and outside Nigeria, to maximize the value and outcomes of their social, impact and commercial investments in healthcare and allied social services. He has extensive experience in healthcare management mostly at senior executive levels leading teams developing and providing quality affordable healthcare services to mass markets especially underserved communities through private and public-private partnership (PPP) for-profit and non-for-profit integrated care ecosystems. He is passionate about break through innovations in healthcare in emerging markets arising from an integration of bricks with bytes which improve the transparency and performance of local health markets.
‘Yomi has consulted for a wide range of local and international clients such as the World Bank, Palladium International, Abt. Associates, PharmAccess Foundation, Medical Credit Fund, Pathfinder International, ICD Healthcare among others.
‘Yomi is an alumnus of University of Ilorin (MBBS, 2003), Lagos Business School (MBA, 2010) and Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies (2016). He is currently the Managing Director of Tillit MSME Microservices and previously at various times he was a co-founder at PurpleSource Healthcare, MD/CEO at Mt. Sinai Hospitals (Lagos), Head of Operations at Hygiea HMO and Programme Manager at Hygeia Community Health Care.
